Andy Gilmore is a graphical, mathematical impresario. His works are mainly composed of bold geometric and kaleidoscopic shapes on a black background, and seem to almost transcend conventional artistic vision. The pieces are both elaborate and sophisticated, mathematically alluring and almost musically harmonious. A resident of Rochester, New York, Gilmore creates his pieces by computer and his designs have been featured in international magazines such as Dazed + Confused and Wired.
